Allgäu Ferienhaus Strobel

Our stay at Allgäu Ferienhaus was truly wonderful – and just unique enough to stay in our memory (in the best way). The location was perfect, right next to a beautiful lake. All the main attractions were easy to reach, whether we felt like hiking in the mountains or strolling through charming little towns. The apartment wasn’t brand new, but that only added to its character. It was well thought out, and the huge balcony quickly became our favorite spot – perfect for morning coffee with mountain air or a glass of something noble in the evening. Just perfect. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen – though small – was smartly designed and had everything we needed. In short: cozy, warm, a bit old-school (in the best possible way) – and absolutely worth it. We'd happily come back. Maybe even bring a bottle or two for that balcony... 😀

The only small hiccup we experienced was in the bathroom, with the infrared heating lamps – they heat up very quickly, and there is a risk of accidentally getting burned. It might be worth considering some additional protection or a clearer warning sign. That said, it was just a minor detail that didn’t take away from our wonderful stay at Allgäu Ferienhaus 😀

Very good position to visit the castle and Füssen, in middle among München, Garmisch-P, Kempten, Obersdorf. The apartment is cosy and the village is very quite. The owner is very kind.
