Citadel Park Apartment

Dan, the host, was extraordinary in his commitment to customer service and the history of the area. This stay deserves far more than the 10 points I can give. The apartment is excellent, well located by Citadel Park and the Bootmaker's Tower, but in a quiet area of the citadel. Parking (if available) is down the hill from the apartment. Work with Dan to understand how to best get the luggage to the room. The building is very old, but the apartment is well integrated into the space. It is large, clean and comfortable and has a full kitchen. It has a washing machine and a drying rack. Finally, I cannot say enough about the amazing host of this property whose excellent English helped us work through a personal problem during our visit and made our time in Sighisoara truly memorable.

Excellent stay for us in all aspects, but keep in mind that this is an old building in a historic area. Stay here for the experience!

Dan, the owner was very helpful. The location was in the old city. The house is where the owner grew up so he has a strong attachment to keep it at a good standard.

Firstly, the host Dan... Dan is a great guy, he met me at the apartment to show me around and talked to me about the history of the Citadel and some of the buildings within the boundaries. He really knows his history. Dan also runs a tour service that you can take uo with him and he will personally take you to other key locations outside of Sighisoara. The apartment was absolutely amazing! It's within the grounds of the Citadel and only a 15 minute walk from the train station. It has a secure entrance leading to the apartment itself. Fully fiited kitchen with a gas cooker with oven, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, kettle and coffee machine. There is also a small dining table that seats 4 people. The bathroom leads off from the kitchen, walk in shower, wash basin and lavatory. Instant hot water via the fitted combi boiler. The living room is very large, it contains a large sofa which opens up into a double bed. An armchair with a couple of foots stools for extra seating. There is also a large wardrobe in this room. Large wall mounted flat screen TV. Central heating is available throughout the apartment. The bedroom contains a large double bed wity a couple of nightstands either side. The bed is very comfortable. This apartment really is great! Contains all the amenities and facilities you would have in your home. The fact that it os located within the grounds of the Citadel itself is just perfect. I plqn on coming back again and will definitely try booking this apartment again. 10/10 Aadil, UK

I enjoyed staying in this old house facing trees at the edge of the citadel. It was quiet. The owner is available to help you for information and check in.

Very convenient location to explore the old part of the city. Dan, the host, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment has all the facilities for a confortable stay.

Location is in the citadel, it’s perfect. Free parking just down the hill. You are allowed to drive till the apartment to drop/pick up luggage. We liked citadel very much, very old, nice and cosy place.

Kitchen isn’t cosy, feels like old coliving place. For short stay it’s ok, for long… i’d think twice. Issues with the hot/cold water - you have to be very carefull to not to make error for heater. Both children were informed, but… error appeared few times.
