"I would recommend Above the bar for families if visiting Southampton"

The apartment was spacious clean and welcoming within the town centre just on your door step, plenty places to shop and find places to eat. The rooms was clean and well equipped with the necessary essentials in each room, the beds were very comfortable. Also I meet the Danni as we were ready to leave and she was so lovely had a little conversation we was supposed to clock out at 10:00 but told us it's okay to not rush. Very kind lady

Well equipped kitchen, fridge with a freezer compartment. There were 2 fans in the cupboard, which was great as it was hot.Great location. The communal roof terrace was nice to have a drink and sit in the sun.

The toilet seat was loose, so could do with replacing

Good central location. Large bedrooms and living space. Washer/dryer was good. Fans provided. Wifi.

Stairs access to property. Very limited crockery etc in kitchen. Bathroom very small and dark. TV online only but wouldn't work although didn't contact host to attempt to rectify this. Waited in for postal deliveries but Royal Mail seemed unable to find the property. Possibly just RM being hopeless.

"Very disappointing !"

there were no curtains or anything to block the light from outside in the bedrooms. we went for a holiday and ended up waking up at 5 am with a child. location was noisy and smelling of weed most of the time from outside the apartmnt

"Everything we needed for short stay"

This suited us fine for a brief post-cruise stay in Southampton, compact 2 bedroom apartment for four of us. Glad to have two sofas, large screen TV and washer, closets with hangers, plenty of hot water, toilet paper, and paper towels (not always provided elsewhere). Location close to huge shopping center, ATM, museums and buses.

No unexpected issues other than very slow wifi. Used Starbucks nearby. We knew location would not be quiet at night, so we were prepared with earplugs, not much problem. Had to step around person sleeping in doorway. Well, that’s life in so many cities these days.
