Prachtig huis, super schoon, ruim en de keuken is van alles voorzien. Er was veel privacy en het zwembad was mooi.

What an absolute beautiful apartment! Wish we could live there! Very homely feel and nicely decorated. All the appliances you need are available. Great beds, terrific shower, large kitchen , large bedrooms and large livingroom. Extremely clean! Nice views all around. The apartment is located in a very well restored building from the 18th century. Loved the entrance and the beautiful stairway. It has a private and well secluded garden in the shade and a gate that leads to the swimming pool and the little main square. With all the other apartments in other beautifully restored buildings it felt like a little old village. We were not the only guests but it is so nicely scaped that you hardly see other people, apart from at the pool and the parking lot. In a rural and quiet setting, but short ride to shops etc. The host was very friendly and responded very rapidly when we had some questions. We felt very welcome. An absolute A+++ from us!

Cal Ouaire House is a very lovely place to unwind and relax. It is very spacious and the living room is inviting, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen has almost everything you need to cook a full meal. There are 2 A/C's and they are useful on hot days. The pool is also lovely to cool down. It's 20 minute drive from Girona and about 30 minute drive to different beaches.

The pool can get crowded as it's shared between 4 or 5 units. There are plenty of chairs and beds around the pool, but the pool itself is not big, probably it's a size for 4-5 people to comfortably dip themselves in. The communication with the owners wasn't great. We bought charcoal to have a BBQ one night but the lighter provided in the kitchen didn't have enough fuel. So we contacted the owner if she could send us a spare lighter. We were told that it would be delivered but it didn't come that night or the next evening, so we went to buy ourselves a new lighter. Same thing with the laundry detergent. They provided one detergent (we stayed 5 nights) and we asked if it was possible for them to give us one more, as we are a family of 4 and had been traveling for a week already. She said she would bring one next morning, but this didn't happen. So my advice is to bring laundry detergents as well as toilet and kitchen paper. Also you need to bring shower gels etc.
