"Great Location, Unclear Policies and No Follow-Up"

The location was excellent, just a short walk from the beach with a beautiful view of the harbour from the large balcony. The apartment was comfortable overall and served as a good base for exploring Warnemünde. Check-out was simple and uncomplicated.

Communication with the hosts could be improved. The Booking.com listing stated check-in until 18:00, but after booking we were informed that Wednesday arrivals were only possible between 14:00 and 16:00. Due to a train rerouting caused by a bomb-related rail disruption near Berlin, we arrived later than planned and were informed of a €15 late-arrival fee. When we later asked where this fee was disclosed in the listing or booking conditions, we never received a response. The beds were also quite squeaky and the sofa bed was not particularly comfortable.
