Small, quiet, comfortable, and clean

Shower drain didn’t drain and water flowed all over bathroom floor

Very nice and big Apartament, very comfortable, big and beautifully decorated. Beautiful view of the city and mountains good communication with the owner.

The bedsheets could have smelled fresher. We had an apartment with two double beds. One of them was part of the open space living room and kitchen, and the other one was in the bedroom, with access to the bathroom, which was downstairs, so it was a little bit uncomfortable, that you always had to pass to the bedroom to go to the bathroom, so make sure that you go with close friends or family 😉 😉 if you choose this type of apartment.

What we absolutely did not like is the absence of transparency. We book the flat by the address Huberstraße 5, once we arrived there they came and said that the location is different and brought us 10 minutes drive away to other flat. When we told, that it doesn’t work we booked the flat by this address they said no no, it is not true, but when we showed our booking they said that unfortunately for 4 people it is not possible to have the flat at Huberstraße 5. They brought us to the city center to another flat in Burgstraße, which was not at all 83m2 as we expected and paid for, but small apartment. The apartment is not in the good condition, the lights were not working in the bedroom, bedsheets didn’t look fresh. Whole impression of visiting Wernigerode was impacted by this experience. It took full hour from arriving to Huberstraße 5 till settling in the Burgstraße, very unpleasant and stressful experience. When we look back at booking, it is not clear at all what flat is advertising about. They placed pictures of all flats to the booking mentioning only one address, it leads to a confusion and wrong expectation. We are very sad about our stay.
