The apartment is in central location of Wernigerode, from Hbf we can reach this property within 12min by walk. It gives a good view to the schloss from the street of this apartment. The host is super friendly he speaks good English which helped me more. Other than that host also allowed us to bring some of our friends who stayed in other nearby properties for the dinner and spend some time in this apartment. There is a Edeka which is just 500mts from this apartment for groceries. Lastly i would say i really felt like home in this apartment because it had everything what we need for daily use.

Excellent location - close to the very attractive town centre of Wernigerode and still a very quiet residential area. All facilities were in place - small-size appartment but use of space is very smart and effective.

The apartment is located very close to city centre and the view from windows towards the old town is magnificent. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped which makes it easy to cook yourself. Beds were very comfortable, wifi was reliable and fast. There are some traveller guides and leaflets about local attractions that you can use to plan what to visit. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and they have an adorable cat :)

I was not able to locate the mop to clean bathroom as the shower seal was not preventing water from getting spilled on the floor. Since the stairs to the bedroom are very steep, you need to be extra careful when walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night, especially since there's no dimmed light that you can use - you can only turn on all the lights or rely on one small dimmed light plugged into the electrical outlet. It would be really helpful if there was an additional dimmed light somewhere in the middle of the stairway.

A warm welcome, fantastic location (a 10-minute walk to the main train station, for example). The children appreciated the box of toys.

Nothing of note. Only wish we could have stayed longer...
