So much character in the middle of an amazing historical area.

I would have liked to be aware that the property was spread over 2 floors

The apartment is located in the heart of the old part of town. Less than five minutes from the town hall and an EDEKA to buy groceries. The train station is only 15 minutes away by foot and the trains to the Brocken are reachable within 7 minutes footpath. Although the exterior temperatures were quite high, it stayed acceptable within. The facilities were very clean, the host friendly and overall it was a great place to stay for holiday.

The Wi-Fi wasn't quite up to the task of day-long videoconferencing as its bandwidth wasn't high enough. In the evenings, the floor was very cold and it wasn't possible to warm the room. So I opted to use my exterior shoes inside as well. In addition, the number of free wall sockets was limited and they were not always in ideal positions. For example, one directly next to the bed was missing. But I was able to find workarounds by, for example, temporarily unplugging lamps to free up their wall socket.

It is very close to the town hall, so everything is pretty and convenient!

Almost all the communication and information documents were in German. I find it difficult. And we didn’t know that the bus tickets were provided to us, because they are in German!

The hosts were easy to communicate with and were very responsive. The apartment had everything we needed and everything was in good shape, but I am sure that if anything had been wrong, the hosts would have responded quickly. Very clean and the beds were comfortable. It is in the town center so bakeries, restaurants, and shops are close by.

Nothing; everything exceeded out expectations.

An easy instructions and easy way to get the keys. Comfortable bed, nice shower. The old town is 3 minutes walk and there are restaurants and shops. The unit is quite and there is a back yard for smoking.

The unit is small, it doesn't have a door that separates the bedroom from kitchen/ living room, no microwave oven and no full size mirror. Not enough electric outlets. None near the bed side. No parking space in the unit. You have to park at a public parking house, about 6 minutes walk.

Sweet little apartment. The location is perfect, and if you are lucky you can find secure a park on street. In our case the host was able to secure us a park in the covered parking garage about 5mins away.

The internet/wifi was unreliable.

Amazing location, very cute and cozy place. Its very comfortable for 4 people. It was vey clean and tidy.
