Lovely Apartment Xylokastro 4th Floor

The address was wrong. The apartment was super cold and the air-conditioning (the only source of heat) was not warming up the place at all.

Great view, near the beach, nice balcony, great pool, 5 min by car to a lot of restaurants, 2 good supermarkets and Spyros ( the host) was very helpful.

It would be nice with 2 keys.

Great choice of lodging five minutes away from Pefkias beach, this cosy apartment sleeps five individuals. There are three AC units that come in handy during hot summer days. We liked that we could use the kitchen to prepare meals. Sitting on the balcony to enjoy the view was particularly relaxing. The owner was very helpful and responsive, and always available to answer questions. Would definitely repeat! Thank you!

The beach was really good, had a nice forest/park next to it. Nice wifi and clean pool.

We were disappointed with the experience in the apartments. Starting with poor communication, the owner doesn't speak enlish well, only told us about pool rules, but didn't inform us how to use the kitchen appliances, how to turn the electricity for them, and did not inform us about leaking air conditioners and leaking bathtub, well everything was wet most of the time :). The beds were extremly uncomfortable to sleep in. Sadly these "lovely" apartments were not lovely.

Xylokastro is beautiful town. Apartment is a little bit away from the town so it is better to have a car. Pool is lovely but there are no sunbeds and tables and you MUST not use sun protection lotion. Basic things are available in the apartment, but nothing more. So you should bring even salt with you. Air conditioning works fine when the card for the electricity is inserted. It is north apartment so you have shade in the balcony. WiFi is good, even for work.

The balcony is quite small and the view is to an area without anything green (except one tree and some others far away), everything is yellow grass and a parking for big vehicles and some industrial building. Then the main road, so you here the traffic perfectly and then the park. No sea view. The rules about the pool are not stated in Booking. Be careful about that - you MUST not use any sun protection lotion! So either go only in the evening or take care not to stay much if your skin burns easily. No sunbeds (even you can see some in the photo), you may only take the big chairs from your balcony (2 chair, not 3). It will be great if Spyros buys 3 sunbeds and small table for his guests to use them by the pool. Keys are looked to a card for the electricity. It becomes extremely big thing to wear in your pocket. And while outside you can't leave your phone to charge. In fact after some conversation Spyros gave us separate key and card because we were with dog and this was the only way to leave the dog in the apartment and go shopping. Many times he said how expensive the electricity in Greece is, so if you don't have a good reason I'm not sure you will get separate card and keys. Not sure if the hot water will heat if the card for the electricity is not inserted. First day we didn't have hot water. Next days were OK. Address is wrong. The building is in the really end of Notara street so if you calc your way by foot to the city center you should add 500 meters.

Very comfortable and clean apartment, the host was also extremely polite and helpful! Good location, close to the park and the Pefkias beach. Zero issues, would definitely stay again!

The apartment was exactly as the photographs. Spacious, clean,had everything we needed. Near the beach, taverns and all in walking distance. Mr Spyros very friendly . Would recommend 10/10
