Ifenwenzi bush Chalet

The location is superb always enjoyed staying at Utopia really has that bush feel to it. the chalet had stunning views of the bush veld

The lighting was poor even for being of the grid, did not have or could not use kitchen appliiances. first night we were there there was no hot water, only to find out that when it is windy the gas heater does not work. The decor is a bit drab in dire need for an upgrade

The area was what I needed Nature and quietness.

These no electricity and network is bad. So we couldn't charge the phones but the host was very helpful

The friendliness of the host even when we arrived bit late but she was communicating with us throughout our travelling until we arrived. She was very helpful ,the place was actually beyond our expectation for break away from the noises.

Putting in phone chargers in case of emergency when the power banks were flat.

We enjoyed everything about the place

We really hated the fact that we couldn't charge our phones even though they gave us bower banks all of them were not fully charged

The overall Estate and what they have to offer was the best part about the stay. Multiple pools with tennis courts and a Chess board. The view was also beautiful. Anita the host was very helpful.

The fact that only on the day of arrival we were notified about the property being off the grid, we would've prepared had it been on the Initial booking itself. The facilities of the property are dated and not well maintained, the inverter that was given to charge our phones ran out of power very quickly that the estate host had to give us power banks to charge our phones. Once the sun set, the battery depleted very quickly. There is a fire pit that is connected to this property, the furniture is rusted and broken and the area wasn't cleaned before our arrival. Our chalet itself could sleep 6 and we were a couple of 2 which worries me that we overpaid for our stay. We had to go to the main estate reception to connect to wifi and charge our phones near the end of the stay.

Tranquility ,home away from home experience. Anita was an amazing host.
