Riverside Cosey Cottage in heart of Christchurch

comfortable quiet easy access to town and inland lakes

no parking or place to safely stop and offload close by. cobbled access no good for elderly with balance problems.

Lovely little cottage in a great location was very clean and had everything that you need

Excellent location and lovely fully equipped cottage.

It would have been helpful if the host had left some information on where to park overnight. Would have preferred the shower to be fixed to the wall.

Excellent self-catering facilities. Very clean. Very nice lounge. Good location and setting.

No number on owner's door, doorbell that doesen't work, phone number that doesn't get answered. No directions or indications as to where the accommodation is. The lady from the house next door generously showed me the accommodation. A shower curtain over the bath would help. wifi intermittent on second day so no TV.

Great location, loads of character and charm. Loads of space compared to a hotel. Very well equipped very clean. Great price

Ultimately small gripes but The ‘shower’ - why not have a shower.? And parking was an extra £25 for the weekend

The bathroom was a little bit too cosy

Central location, very pretty property, which has been beautifully decorated to a very high standard.

Albeit it didn’t affect me as I am quite short, the bathroom has a low ceiling so if you are tall and like showering might be an issue.

Location was right in the town centre, minutes from shops, pubs and restaurants. Directly opposite historically interesting buildings, set back from the main street which made it quiet. Beautifully presented and fully equipped, it was clear there was a high attention to detail - even the cooking utensils had been perfectly placed in the drawer! TV had Netflix, there was a dishwasher, fridge and coffee machine, there really wasn't much left out. We said to each other a few times that we could have lived there quite easily!

Only thing you should consider when staying is whether you can cope with the low ceiling downstairs (upstairs is high though!) if you're 6ft or over - personally I was fine with it - that's the charm of older buildings!
