The friendliness and availability of the person in charge. The location of the flat and the swimming pool. There were all the equipments needed in the kitchen.

They refused to refund the first night as I was unable to come so I paid for 3 nights but stayed for 2. They also asked me to leave early because someone was coming at 11 when the check out time is 12! There was also a cut of water supply which when we arrived for en entire day but this is specific to Madagascar. Maybe install a water bulk.

It was wonderful having a washer available, as well as a full kitchen (without dishwasher though). We also enjoyed the pool, and large TV, and it felt like a safe neighborhood (the president lives very close, and so depending on the political happenings at the time, it may not always be safe). Wifi was good, although it would have been nice if they had written the password down for us, instead of the rigamarole of walking to the guards who alerted the owner, who then came and spent 15 minutes trying to find it.

We didn't know this when we booked but YOU HAVE TO PAY IN CASH. THEY DON'T TAKE CREDIT CARD. This was a surprise but thankfully we managed to scrounge the cash. Also, there were two bedrooms, both with double beds. Neither bedroom has an air conditioner, a fan or screens on the windows. Also, the only coverings on the bed were thick comforters. And the pillows are all very big/uncomfortable. Sleeping was not very comfortable - it was very hot. Fans in the bedrooms and the option of covering up with just a sheet should be options when it's warm outside. Finally, it's a bit insulting to have the owner look through the house and count the cutlery etc before we could "check out". We left the house clean and didn't steal anything.

A magnificent apartment located in a gated community, with nice surroundings, quiet and safe neighbourhood. The property is modern, beautifully designed and has all the facilities that one would need for a stay. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with a large double bed, closets and side furnitures, the bathroom is clean and has a Jacuzzi-bathtub, a fully equipped kitchen including oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, dishwasher etc., a very cozy living room with comfortable sofas, TV and satellite channels and a terrace with view on the swimming pool. A supermarket (Leader Price) is within five minutes drive from the property. Everything is new, well maintained and perfectly clean, I absolutely enjoyed my stay there and would definitely book again !
