The hosts are very generous and always add personal touches to make our stay memorable. Magnificent views of the ocean and mountains surround the property. It just good for the soul to be there.

Everything about Kalliste is exceptional. From the way you feel welcome with all the spoils, to the way Garth and Therese provide information about all the beautiful places to go around Bettysbay. The cottage is stylish and beautifully decorated with even a bunch of fynbos and wine to welcome you.

Beautifully appointed and very spacious accommodation.We loved the deck which has a stunning view of the sea. Perfect for drinking coffee and watching the waves. The sea is a short walk though a beautiful indigenous garden. For my birthday, I was spoilt with cupcakes and champagne. So many lovely things to make it feel like home - extra blankets, Nespresso machine, Netflix, milk and eggs in the fridge, two bathrooms!

Proactive hospitable hosts who made us feel very welcome, with a welcome bottle of wine, artisanal bread and more. Excellent quiet location with spectacular ocean views

If you have stayed in a number of privately owned accommodation you are always a bit apprehensive when arriving at the property. Rest assured when booking at Kalliste all you expectations are going to be exceeded. Therese left fresh bread in the kitchen (and during the week). She bought us dinner on the first night because we would only arrive late, the list goes on. The location could not be better, with great views of the sea. The room and bathroom were lovely clean and very tastefully decorated. Everything one could need, is in the kitchen with coffee pods provided. The flat is private and there is a private entrance. If you plan to be in the Betty's bay area, you must stay here. If it is not available; change your dates!

it was very nice to come back to Kalliste, with Garth and Therese. the location is great, their house is beautiful, and they are incredibly good hosts. they deserve 5.5 out of 5

The view of the ocean was beautiful. The location was ideal and a short drive to Hermanus. The cottage was very spacious and well kitted out with lots of little touches to make you feel very welcome. Ideal for a stay to just relax but also close enough to do many activities in the surrounding areas. Garth and Therese sent tons of suggestions which were all very helpful.

Beautiful and clean. The view is great and on arrival being welcomed with fresh bread and an ice cold bottle of wine.
