"We will not book here again."

just hours before our arrival, the host informed us of a last-minute change to a different property due to a 'water leak.' The new location was said nearer to the city centre and more convenient for us ( to The Wycombe swan) but it turned out to be farther away and less convenient for our plans. We requested that the leak be fixed so we could move back to the original property (as we were staying for a full 9 nights), but received no response for that. At the redirected property, ongoing repair work was being carried out in the flat below us throughout most of the daytime, resulting in constant noise that made relaxation difficult. Additionally, the host let a plumber enter our flat without permission to inspect something affecting the downstairs unit. We paid for a better central location and a comfortable, quiet stay, but the experience fell far short of what was advertised. Communication was poor, the relocation was misleading, and the disruptions were not adequately addressed. We would not recommend this host or property and will not book here again.

Very disappointed. Didn’t had even a simple things like soup,shower gel,cooking paper,kitchen towel. Didn’t had a shower for 2 days when stayed there because water was boiling hot and had a poor sleep because very bad mattress.

I didn't stay at Suffield Lodge as was moved to a different apartment on the day - quiet location, near town centre and train station, convenient parking

My only issue has been with the owner - despite repeated requests for an invoice this has been ignored. Booking.com stated that this is a breach of contract but still no invoice. Really disappointed as I have a new client in High Wycombe and was looking for a regular base, but if there's no invoice I can't reclaim the expenses from my company which puts me personally out of pocket. I expect better service

Location near BMU. We were there for a graduation. Spacious and comfortable. Nice decor. Dishwasher was a bonus.

Not a lot of crockery and cutlery. Just enough... but this meant putting on the dishwasher half empty. Contact re the security deposit came only on check-in day. This was very awkward as I was flying to the UK, and also the email went to Spam. Contact the previous day or before would have been much better.

La experiencia fue muy buena. Hay que indicar que el día de antes el anfitrión nos informó que nos tenía que cambiar de alojamiento en distinta ubicación por problemas técnicos. Esta ubicación era buena también. El alojamiento asignado era excelente. Muy nuevo y moderno. Equipamiento y electrodomesticos de muy buena calidad y nuevos. El edificio tipico inglés, reformado y muy tranquilo. El anfitrión muy amable, nos permitió hacer check in antes u check out unas horas mas tarde.

Nada a reseñar.

"Nice flat, if you don't mind chasing after your deposit for weeks"

The flat was fine in and of itself. It was comfortable, clean and it had all the facilities we needed.

The day before arriving I got a message saying that the flat I had booked had suffered a water leak and we had been relocated to another flat. This isn't a huge issue, but I had booked the other flat for that specific location. What is worse though... The owner asks for a deposit, which is supposed to get refunded the day after the stay. However, I only got it back 2,5 weeks later, and only because we (my boyfriend and I) kept asking for it. The owner first told us he had done it just after the visit, and that I should figure it out with the bank. As it turned out, he hadn't. Poor communication all in all...

"Total disappointment!!!"

nothing special

Well, first time in my travel history that a serviced apartment has not kept hand wash not even in the toilet. No shampoo no body wash in the bathroom. No coffee sachets no tea bags kept for a courtesy. When we asked for the location the postcode shared took us to a different location. We spent a good 30 minutes to find the property in the middle of the night. We tried to reach the owner but no response at all and not even in the next day the call was returned for a courtesy. When we tried to call in the morning to ask whether the extra toiletries are kept anywhere, still the owners never answered the phone. They charged damage deposit of 100 pounds and they did not pay that no sooner we vacated the property. I had to remind them few times and only 10 days later they refunded. Very bad management. We stayed in a property at Berlin for 2 nights, and we paid 300 Euros as refundable deposit. The moment we vacated they credited the money after deducting for the consumables. I never had to go after them reminding.
