Lovely flat, good size and clean

The owner was rude when I checked in, and rude on the phone when I'd called back after she left me a rude voice mail.

Booked on the day because our other hotel let us down and we couldn't be more pleased

It's a comfortable flat with all you could possibly need for a family stay. Very warm and cosy, lots of space, close to the town centre and shops.

The steps can be a bit tricky with no hand rail. Also the rug in the back bedroom is slippery.

Very clean and had everything you needed.

Shower temperature fluctuates. List of chores to do before leaving.

Had issues with TV, couldn't get a picture at all. Contacted host , she came back to us the following day and got someone out to sort it. It was better but signal kept getting lost . If you intend staying in and like watching TV not the best. Other than that cannot fault the place.

I chose The Pottery flat because it was doggy friendly and close to the wedding venue we were attending during our short stay. The whole family found the beds extremely comfortable and slept well. The flat was very well equipped with kitchenware and practical items. Clean and well presented, our stay went without a hitch!

Very minor points - Having milk in the fridge on arrival would have been very much appreciated. Drove for 5 hours and arrived after 4pm on a Sunday. Everywhere was shut, so couldn't have a cuppa until late Monday morning. I thought the back garden would be enclosed, but it was a driveway and pond. Handy however to park off street, so that helped with that issue.

Beds were very comfy and clean the toilet and shower was clean. Nice to have the whole place to ourselves and not all squashed in one room.

No enclosed garden, kitchen floor wasn’t clean x over grown bush near the front door hard to take things with with getting hit my the overgrown bush and on a busy road so a bit noisy.
