Walking distance to beach and town. Comfortable, well equipped, clean unit. Good books.

No door on en-suite bathroom so did not use its shower or toilet. The ensuite toilet continually flushed at intervals during the night but we notified the agent and presumably this has been fixed.

Literally right across the street from the beach! Loved having the patio so I could enjoy meals outside. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly — especially Taylor.

Wifi and outlets didn't work for first two days. Electric stove and oven were difficult to use and didn't have instructions.

The unit was impeccably presented. The bed was comfortable. The TV was huge, with a good sound system. There was a view of the ocean from the patio, and one corner of the sitting room, which was nice. The block of units was right opposite a small beach ("Coolum Cove"), and the unit was only about 3 units back from the front (the road), so you could easily go for a walk along the front.

The owners had apparently not had Wi-Fi installed, despite the fact that it was advertised as having Wi-Fi. When I asked the agent about it, they were very good and arranged a Telstra 4G mobile hub. Unfortunately, it took me a while to work out that mobile reception was poor (or non-existent) almost everywhere in the unit, both for the Telstra hub and my Optus phone. But everything was good when I worked out that reception was OK in the main bedroom.
