The place has great potential. It is quiet, clean, and close to the city center and forest. The apartment has most of the necessary kitchen and bathroom appliances. The parking spot is quite narrow, but manageable to navigate. We found some local butter-mushrooms growing just outside the window. It was a great addition to our delicious Sunday brunch omelet.

As I said the place has great potential, but the host is obnoxious, and the furniture arrangement is questionable. When using the fireside, parts of TV screen started to black out due to the heatwaves (for some reason TV is very close to fireplace). The host said it is ok to use the fireplace, but did not give us any instructions, precautions, or materials. We had to bring our own wood, matches etc. (he didn't even give us an axe). When alarmed about the issue he was ignorant and did not take any active measures to help us out. After struggling with the wall attachments for some time I managed to take the TV off before any substantial damage was done. After cooling off the screen was ok, but the entire experience brough us loads of stress and disturbed the peaceful evening. The next day the host arrived all hung over and started to blame us for this experience. He was offensive and passive aggressive while defending his position about the incident. Even approached my partner to the point where his head was very close to hers and blabbed some stuff directly to her mouth (imagine the smell of a hang overed man directly speaking to your mouth!). After the incident we still did not receive any instructions on how to properly use the fireplace and watch TV at the same time, so we stopped using them up until the end of our stay. Another issue is the heating system in general. The only way to keep the rooms warm (besides the fireplace that can melt down the TV) is A/C. To keep the room temperature warm, it must stay overnight. But after reaching +15 it becomes quite noisy so there is no option to have a relaxed night’s sleep unless you decide to freeze a little bit. Planning to never return here again. P.S. after posting the evaluation of my eperience here in booking.com I received an SMS from the host to my personal number saying that we are morons (Debilai).

Apartment in great location close to the center of Druskininkai, yet in a beautiful nature surroundings. Well equipped and spacious, place to park the car. Calm neighbourhood.

We arrived 10 mins before the official check in time, but the apartment was was not yet fully cleaned - unchanged beddings, handing towels.

Wi-Fi is a bit slow

Great location just outside of the main city center, walking distance. The house is very modern and have everything that you need for any length of stay. This is our second time at the property.

Better Wi-Fi will be great, although the local cellular is cheap.
