Appartement non réquisitionné car beaucoup trop SALE. ménage non effectué et la personne qui devait nous remettre les clefs était absente. Retard de plus de 2 heures. Nous sommes partis et nous avons pas gardé ce taudis. Trop insalubre.

Bad smell

In theory, this accommodation has potential. The kitchen was okay. And the balcony is also quite nice.

As we were moving our stuff into the apartment and left the front door open for that, we were welcomed with a cold and threatening: "You close the door!" by the neighbor. His wife, trying to explain this upsetting welcome by saying "There are a lot of burglars in this area" didn't make us feel much more comfortable. Inside, there was a kind of stale smell that failed to welcome us as well as the neighbors did. And you'd better not leave the bathroom door open. I guess the smell was coming from there. Repulsive. So, we didn't dare to spend much time in the bathroom. The sofa had dog hair all over, looked kind of shabby and actually smelled like dog. And we knew, two of us would have to sleep on it. Even though, I had registered 4 people for this one night (my wife and two kids), we had only sheets for the bed. For the sofa, we had to use sheets out of the cupboard, which were clearly used for dogs. Sorry, but that's unheard of. Not to mention the remote control that was sticky and had tape all over it. We were somewhat disgusted. The next day, we felt desperate for a shower but didn't dare to take a step inside that horribly smelling bathroom. We were happy to have gotten out of the apartment quite early in the morning but were surprised by an upsetting message from the owner during the day: we had forgotten to clean a used plate and pan and were therefore banned from ever booking with them again. Can you actually believe it? We were shocked and let her know that we don't ever intend to come back here ever again! Unbelievable. The two points are for the potential this accommodation could have if it were managed properly, welcomed their guests, made them feel at home and if it were actually clean! The experience itself would be 0/10.

This accommodation had everything and the stay was pleasant. The rooms are not very large, but everything is efficiently furnished. Everything was there, the kitchen was fine, there were some basic spices, sugar, salt etc. The balcony was pleasant. Bathroom fine and everything was clean. Unfortunately did not see the hostess otherwise, only spoken for the phone in connection with the key box.
