The pool was perfect at every hour. The room was cleaned twice or three times per week (thank you Olga, you are so good to do your job). The position is perfect, 5 mins by walk from beaches and restaurants. If you need a place to relax this one is perfect, trust me!!! See you next year

Makis was a lovely place to stay that had a great pool and amazing staff. Lisa who worked at the pool bar was so kind and we had lots of laughs with her. She was the highlight of our stay. The property is an easy walk down to the main area that has supermarkets and restaurants all along.

The rooms are outdated with a very uncomfortable bed. We had to find spare blankets to put on top of the mattress as the springs would dig into our body. I would recommended getting mattress toppers.

It was a good location with a beautiful view. The staff was lovely. The towels were excellent quality. Decent AC and Wi-Fi.

There was no soap in bathroom or kitchen. The soap dispenser in the bathroom wasn't working and I did tell them but nothing was done.

The location is excellent and the accommodation was perfect for our stay. The Pool area js wonderful.

It would have been a bonus if we could have bought toasties and salads / lunch food in the bar area.

I wouldn't call it a studio apartment. It was tiny and no space in it to move around. Smallest shower/bathroom I've ever seen. No place to store your luggage. Kitchenette didn't even have basics in it like a sponge and tea towel. Also, the lack of any internet accessibility was extremely poor in today's day and age.Overall really disappointed. Definitely not value for money.u in

This is a really difficult review to write because the people running these apartments are so lovely and will do anything to help. However, it needs saying that parts of this complex of apartments are very tired. We booked a studio apartment, expecting there to be minimal room but didn’t expect that the bed doesn’t really fit the room. Only one plug socket and the aircon was on its last legs. The safe didn’t work and neither did the tv. We complained and Katarina arranged for us to stay in a larger apartment. This had clearly been refurbished and the view from the large balcony was to die for but still had a tiny shower area in a large bathroom. The pool area was great and never very busy. The poolside bar is a great addition but has limited stock and doesn’t do food, which is a shame because it’s in a lovely setting. The location is great. A two minute walk into a vibrant centre with many great restaurants and some great bars.

The photos on Booking.com aren’t up to date. The garden area photos on Booking shows more sunbeds in a well manicured area, however, in reality this is run down and not usable.

The studio that I was staying in was very comfortable and cozy. I had everything that I needed. Great bed, shower, and kitchen. The authentic design of the interior gave a very welcoming feel. Giannis, the owner of the place, was very helpful with everything . The breakfast was outstanding!!! If you are traveling to an other island or you coming back from your vacation and you need to stay for a couple of days in Athens , this place is perfect !!!

Although the infra structure is all there the whole place needs some serious re-decoration and refurbishing. The rooms are dated and tired. The showers are small and badly fitted with broken tiles. The wiring looks dodgy and unsafe. Above the small hob is a cupboard and curtains ( a certain fire risk). Kitchen area not well equipped/ no basic items for cleaning ie washing up liquid and cloths etc. The fridge was difficult to open with the door on the wrong side. The bed was not very comfortable and sunk in the middle/ old. It’s crying out for some TLC. Such a shame because the potential is huge to what could be a fabulous place. The pool area again has such potential but again tired and lacking some imagination. Outside areas and approach look lacking in care and again could look great with a good tidy/ weeding/ painting. Sadly just a general feeling of not bothered and apathy.

Good location. We have stayed in Agia Effima last year and came back again in June for 3 nights. It’s a very chilled area and this complex is walking distance to the harbour and restaurants. We stayed in the seaview apartment 24. It was a lovely spacious modern apartment overlooking the pool and had two balconies, the main one getting the sun all day. We enjoyed getting to know lovely Lisa who worked in the pool bar, who was a lovely young lady with a great personality.

The lack of kitchen equipment - we had to loan a frying pan from the neighbours - and only 2 random teacups too! My biggest gripe was that, despite the large partment,, the bathroom was tiny and the shower wasn’t a proper cubicle but a tray with a plastic shower curtain which I find unhygienic as it kept sticking to me and all I could think about was all the other bodies it had stuck to - it freaked me out. Please Makis instalL proper cubicles as plastic shower curtains are grim!
