Parking was definitely an issue. Many vehicles on the drive and very narrow. Busy road so difficult to reverse in. A lot of money for not guaranteed parking. My son said the sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable. The security deposit in the small print on booking.com. This needs to be made much much clearer. I can see it’s needed for students but not a family staying. And it takes too long to refund the money.

Sink drain in the bathroom was a bit dicey, but tht was a small inconvenience.

The location is perfect if you’re visiting the university. It’s also very close to the town centre and on the city bus route. The facilities were sufficient and everything worked fine. It was clean too. There’s also a restaurant right opposite the house but we didn’t try it out.

The front of the house gets very dark in the evening. I personally found the sensor lightings were not sufficient. There are also a pile of construction rubbish in front of the house plus a nonmoving van parked there, leaving only one space for the driveway parking. Despite informing early and making a reservation for that parking spot while we were renting the place, the space was constantly taken by a tenant living at the back of the house. I found it extremely inconvenient especially when we arrived with large suitcases etc. I had to stop my car on the busy main road curb to drop my luggages before parking the car along the side street. It was also not helpful when it rained heavily and you had a lot to carry out from the car. I think the beddings are also in dire need of replacement. The mattress was very lumpy and dented from old age and the pillows are literally 4 pieces of flat pancakes 😂 The wash basin in the bathroom was in minute size but I guess it’s fair because the bathroom is also quite tight. I also found the water in the shower was too hot but I couldn’t adjust it because it was written in the guideline book that they have preset the water temperature. And lastly, since we stayed there for 5 nights, I would expect a bit more bath gel/shampoo supply than just a small bottle of each which would have been provided for the single night guests.
