"Charming and cozy flat in the center of town."

The apartment is in a great location and an easy walk to some good restaurants, a great bakery, and the train station. Nice, well equipped kitchen. Everything was very clean and in good shape. James could not have been a more thoughtful and welcoming host.

There is no parking on site and while the car park is only about a two minute walk, you must get a pay and display ticket by 8 am every day except Sunday. If you like to sleep in, be aware that the church is next door and there could be bells ringing on Sunday mornings or other occasions.

"Lovely apartment, excellent facilities in a beautiful town. Downside are the church bells which go off every 15-30 minut"

A really lovely apartment, very clean and everything you could need. Lovely to have some milk and tea/ coffee for when we arrived.

The only downside is the town church bells which go off every 15-30 minutes. They chime throughout the night which will keep you awake. It would be helpful if the property info had this mentioned on it as a note prior to booking so that you can consider your options. If you are a light sleeper (as I am) don’t expect to get a full nights sleep.

"Good location in the middle of Macclesfield"

Location is great, just off the market square. Well equipped kitchen. Warm and comfortable. Loved how you could hear the church bell chiming gently every quarter hour. Excellent location for the Treacle Market.

Lounge area was a bit dark. Closest parking was at the bottom of a hill - pay and display from 8am-6pm, free on Sundays.

This property was lovely! It was in a great location, decorated nicely, beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well thought out and nice and clean. We were able to walk everywhere in town, including our favorite vegan restaurant "Ethos." Also Coffee#1 was close by along with other good coffee shops.
