Clear instructions were sent to me on messaging.

the animal feed container in the kitchen should have been labelled. I was not inquisitive enough to open and therefore I did not know that the animals in the park could be fed.

I loved the breathtaking view and the serenity of the location. I loved how the accommodation had everything we required and the cleanliness of the place. The bedrooms were spacious and beautiful. I can’t fault the place

We didn’t enjoy the pool water being very cold. It made it hard to swim.

Vlak aan de rand met zicht op crocodile river waar altijd wilde dieren te spotten zijn. Hout voor de braai is reeds aanwezig, iedere dag roomservice voor huishouding, persoonlijke ontvangst en zelf een gratis carwash service. Top

The house is breathtaking and spacious It blends in with the natural surroundings and above all else we loved the visits from the Zebras, Elands, Pumba and the Giraffes

Absolutely unforgettable. That’s the only way to describe our stay at Chelesa. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into a private wildlife sanctuary. Zebras, impala, and kudu literally wandered up to our back door. At one point, we were standing in the kitchen and could almost reach out the window to touch a zebra it was that close. Watching them roam freely through the bush, sometimes just metres from where we sipped our morning coffee, was something we’ll be talking about forever. The location is absolutely phenomenal. You're immersed in nature, surrounded by the wild landscape of Marloth Park The road in is a bit bumpy but that's just part of the adventure, and well worth every single jolt for what awaits at the end. The hosts were exceptional. Westline, via WhatsApp, made everything seamless. She was responsive, helpful, and kind, whether it was fine-tuning our itinerary, booking experiences, or just answering questions! Then there’s Mondray, who met us on arrival and was the warmest, kindest human. He showed us how to use everything on the property (including how to safely feed the animals with the food pellets provided) and even gave me a spontaneous lift after a massage, talk about above and beyond! Daily housekeeping was an unexpected surprise, we weren’t expecting it at all, but it was such a lovely luxury in the middle of the bush. During our stay, we packed in a full-day safari in Kruger, a sunset safari, and quad biking - each organised effortlessly through Westline, and each one an experience in its own right. The guides were brilliant, the wildlife sightings were breathtaking, and the quad biking added a perfect bit of adrenaline to the mix. Honestly, I’ve nearly run out of superlatives to describe this place. It was magical, peaceful, exhilarating, welcoming, luxurious, and authentic—all at once. Chelesa is a rare gem, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

That we didn't get to stay longer

Beautifully built , gave us the feeling of hike away from home with the exception that we’re in the bush with all the wild animals. Fully equipped kitchen, washing area and more .
