ZAself catering... the house had all the necessary equipment for cooking. we found keys on the door
The house keeping was not helpful, instead, at some point, she told us because there is no electricity she want to knockoff, whilst at that point we were not done preparing breakfast as a result of the no electricity situation ( to which we are ok with the loadshedding, this is SA afterall)
ZATranquil and comfortable accommodation for family Great attention to detail in beautifying the place Lots of effort given in making sure you have what you need and more... The waterfall in the backyard is probably the best feature!
2-bedrooms, 1-bathroom But not a big deal if traveling with family
ZAGreat location and fabulous that it has a spa with small restaurant within a few metres of the cottage. The two rooms were very comfortable, one with DSTV and one with a streaming box. The kitchen is very well set up and the table outside with braai area is great!
We were comfortable with one bathroom as we travelled with our children but if it is two couples this might be a bit inconvenient - but the bathroom is well equipped.

ZAI loved the constant sound of the river nearby. The lush green trees and surrounding gardens. The place is so peaceful and quiet. We felt safe and secure. We had everything we needed in the cottage. The staff was friendly and helpful. Awesome to have had all the small things that are easily forgotten like mosquito plugs and firelighters. Fans in all the rooms really helped with the heat. Kitchen fully equipped. Awesome stay
A cover/pergola on the veranda would be great in order to still be able to sit outside during times when its raining so the braai experience can continue despite the rain.
ZAThe cottage is beautiful and decorated very well, it's super spacious with a full complete kitchen, right on the river and a huge SPA and swimming pool within a few steps of the cottage. It's absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable
The cottage could use a bit of work, some of the walls are cracking and it could use a full proper clean just before guests arrive. I know it's right by the river and trees but there is lots of spider webs, and the oven wasn't too clean. For the summers I would suggest maybe an aircon instead of fans.

The mosquitos were bad but they were well prepared with mosquito repellent in the rooms
ZAThe space was very clean and staff were very friendly. This gem of a place is perfectly positioned just outside of the hustle and bustle. The tranquil setting with the ravine running is perfect for a quiet moment away from the busyness of day to day life.
Everything was perfect.
ZAEverything as usual was beautiful from the decor to the scenery to the little touches home away from home.
