Chicstay Suites

The location was very good. It was very quiet at the back of a bigger house but only 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. We liked the big kitchen, the comfortable beds and the relaxed feeling of the place. We stayed during a wet grey spell and we really liked being able to control the heating. The owner lives next door and was available to help with some things.

It felt slightly neglected in terms of paintwork round the windows and some things didn't work brilliantly e.g a very wobbly stool in the kitchen, no handle on the fridge, bath plug and an erratic toilet and TV. The last few have been pointed out by other people.

Room is large and suit for the family who have kid. Location is good, not far from the town and Grocery store. Kitchen is very nice and full of kitchenwares but it has no dishwasher.

No shading on the door. If raining, it's easy to get wet.

Really lovely place, and the owners were great and very efficient. I had a query on the first day and they came out within 5 minutes, and were both very accommodating and helpful. Saw previous reviews but Wi-Fi worked fine and there where apps on the tv to watch Netflix/bbciplayer etc.

Lots of space. Bed very comfy. Very quiet, no sound from other apartments or traffic noise. Could control the heating, have it on and tempature as required. Reasonable amount of utensils for cooking.

Would recommend this place but disagree with it's description. It has all the basics you need but nothing exceptional or extra so wouldn't describe it as luxury. It's an 8 minute walk from the town centre (last bit up a hill) in a residential area. Not what I would describe as town centre. Needs written instructions in the apartment on how to work the TV, other appliances and codes. Couldn't use the bath as the plug doesn't keep the water in. Shower only.

Nice and spacious and clean, supremely quiet for a just-outside of Town property. A much better option than a Hotel room in the city especially with the Kitchen and Lounge to make things like home.

Just a couple of minor maintenance items would benefit from some attention but nothing to detract from an enjoyable stay.
