Ferns Miners Rest

The location was great and the setting very relaxed. We were met by our host Sandra who showed us through the room and facilities which was great. The room was beautifully decorated with everything we needed to cook a simple meal for the night as we were only staying for the one night unfortunately. The bed was very comfortable and quiet.

The cottage was adorable. Our host was lovely, she put the aircon on prior to our arrival and gave us tips on places to visit and places to eat. The room had an air purifier, which was good for sleeping. The room was very clean, crisp, clean bedding on a very comfortable bed. We even got to take home a sample of fresh honey from their bee hives.

That we couldn't stay two nights!

Small, cosy, well equipped cabins in an elevated location in a pleasant historic town run by nice people who care about their guests.

The owners were really welcoming. The cottage was immaculately presented. The bed we wanted to strap on top of the car and whisk it away! Like sleeping on a cloud. Really enjoyed our stay and would book in again.

There is nothing to add here.

Units in a bush like setting with well maintained gardens. Free honey sample. Unit nicely decorated. Fully equipped kitchen.

All good.

From the moment we walked into our unit we felt right at home, it was clean and tidy, and had personal touches which mean a lot to travellers. (Loved the selection of pillows). Our host was friendly and informative suggesting places to go for dinner, and where to get a great cup of coffee in the morning. Definitely one of the best places we stayed during our 3 week holiday, and I would definitely return and stay a little longer next time.

The only thing I can think of is that I couldn't find a bread board in the otherwise, well appointed kitchen.
