It was close to a beach for a walk

It had security cameras overseeing your moves, smelt of cigarettes throughout and owner was unreasonable in response to genuine request for rebate. It had dead flower arrangements and shower had scum marks. It looks like it is really just a money scheme rather than a genuine bach accommodation and it is positioned in a suburban street so probably annoys neighbours, there is a list of what you cant do as a result. I left early.

Very compact, clean and tidy self contained unit (#3) adjoined to a neighbouring unit. Proximity was no issue for our two night stay. Unit is well eqipped with towels, and bed linen - bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was a useful sized wet room with a great shower. Off street parking was a bonus. Close proximity to the hills overlooking the coast was also a bonus.

The booking confirmation process was a circus of repetitive emails and seemingly conflicting messages. I paid in full days in advance of arriving in New Plymouth - hours before I was due to check in the company was still asking for my credit card details and proof of identity. Read the fine print if you value your digital privacy. The system can and should be far less complicated and "busy".

Modern, close to the beach

No plunger coffee for the plunger, no view

nice set-up inside.

conjoined apartments make it very noisy. the shared wall needs to be sound proofed. also the big palms outside need to be trimmed, they rustle against the bedroom wall all night when it's windy.
