Magical view and great location a little outside of town. There is a kitchenette and fireplace free to use. Omar and Astrid are beyond helpful and organized an amazing Temazcal for us. They offer a wide range of services and I would 100% recommend to use them.

The host (Omar) was very gracious in allowing us to cancel our stay upon arrival, and even gifted us some local coffee. The location is close enough to town that you could walk to restaurants.

Upon arrival, we had to cancel our stay and move to another place (Rancho Viejo) because the “cabana” (5) was right above their laundry room and the extremely strong scent of fabric softener was going to make me sick (scent sensitivity). Even if you don’t suffer from a sensitivity, smelling strong artificial laundry products instead of the nature you came for would not be very pleasant. It is not a separate cabin (attached to the one next door and of course to the laundry room below), so this is worth considering. Perhaps try for a different cabin if you book here.

Das ganze Dorf befindet sich offenbar in einem Touristen-Goldrausch, der offenbar mit der Magic mushroom Verheißung zusammenhängt. Überall werden cabanas zusammengeklopft (v.a. Beton und Plastik) und alles ist eine große Baustelle. Mit einer friedlichen Natur-Erfahrung hat das ganze wenig zu tun. Das Zimmer riecht nach altem Rauch (was vermutlich mit dem Kamin zusammenhängt).

Lovely view, option to have mezcal & charcuterie plate brought to room.

A very comfortable and nicely decorated room. Kitchen facilities and an open fireplace in the room. Host was very friendly and accommodating.

Omar the proprietor was great! Kind, helpful, friendly. Full of knowledge regarding the area.
