Beechwood Garden Suite

We stayed while looking after a relative nearby. It was comfortable and quiet despite the proximity to the road. Everything we needed was available. Well thought out.

Not unique to this property but the ability to control the heating/ temperature oneself is not possible. Absolutely able to interact with owner to sort timer but either too cold or too warm.

Hemos pasado unos días magníficos. El alojamiento es ideal para una familia con 2 niños. En nuestro caso de 7 y 9 años. Tanto la cama como el sofá cama, muy cómodos. Justo al salir del jardín, encontrabas la parada de autobús con conexión con Belfast cada pocos minutos. Un truco para viajar toda la familia y poder coger todos los autobuses que quieras en el mismo día, es sacar un Family Day Ticket. Por 10 libras tienes todo el día derecho a coger todos los autobuses que quieras. A pocos minutos andando del alojamiento, hay varios sitios de comidas para llevar. En definitiva, muy recomendable.

Para nuestro gusto, la calefacción estaba muy fuerte y tenías que ponerte en manga corta para no sudar. Estaba programada para 3 horas. De madrugada, cuando se apagaba automáticamente, bajaba la temperatura y era necesario darle al programador otra vez. Estaría bien, poner la temperatura un poco más suave pero durante la noche no tener que levantarte a darle al programador. Pero vamos, que es por poner alguna pega, porque es resto ha sido perfecto.

The only minor issue was the shower temperature, which was a bit difficult into adjust—it changed very quickly from too cold to too hot.”

Love the location and connection to public transport links. Contact for keys and general information is exceptional and comprehensive of information you might possibly need. This is not our first sray and we like it for the quality of sleep we always have. There are some handy shops and food outlets within a short walking distance.

It never feels like we stay long enough!

A beautiful, clean, well-appointed and completely self-contained flat in a very safe and quiet area. It was perfect for a friend and I for a long weekend - I took the bed, I took the fold-out and it worked out perfectly. We were very comfortable and the location was perfect for getting into Belfast as well as visiting relatives nearby (buses run regularly, and the cab fare was about £15 one way to city centre when we needed it). The host communicated very well - we had explicit instructions both via message and in the property book, which we were able to read easily and thus had all questions answered in advance. Would recommend this to anyone!

Hosts were lovely couple

We loved how the suite was separate from the main house which meant we could come and go when we pleased. The bus stop being located right outside was a bonus!

The hosts were fantastic and so helpful. Allowed us to check in waaaaay in advance, and even went out of their way to provide milk etc for breakfast. While unnecessary (since we checked in really early), this was a lovely thought and we appreciated it. Everything was spotless and the sofa bed was a nice extra we didn't need but came in handy for lounging in front of the tv. Easy check in, smooth process from start to finish. We had a wonderful time!
