Place beautiful and tastefully furnished..beautiful linen and local art. Pottery etc. Lovely moss garden and trees to wander through. Plenty of heating and toasty warm..lovely venue..lake.. mountains and stunning bush. Go there !

Everything was good

-Location - we used this as a one night stopover between a couple of bigger stays to break up the journey and we’re glad we did. There is a nice walk down to the lake and along to the only restaurant in town. -Access and parking - the host met us on site as they live above. Parking was a large driveway with plenty of turning space. -Restaurants - the lodge in town is the only one, so I was a little worried it would be rubbish and overpriced. But it was lovely and reasonably priced. Winner. WiFi speed - 50 mbps down and 10 mbps up -Amenities / facilities - we didn’t use a lot as it was only a 1 nighter, but it seemed well equipped and big enough to stay for a decent while. -Noise levels - super quiet. -Temperature - a little chiller in the bedroom, as the heater was a couple of rooms away, however, we had a nice warm blankets and we were cosy enough. -Shower - consistent temperature pressure. It was the fourth or fifth time we had a bubble / roof over the shower (you’ll know what I mean when you see one), but it was the first place to actually explain the best way to use it! -Overall comments - Nice place, would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location! The property was so amazingly peaceful, the wee walk out the back gate to the picnic table was perfect. I had tea here, listening to the birdsong, whilst waiting for my friend to arrive. Just a short walk to the lake and to the Alpine Lodge, and no sandflies! Loved it, and would definitely book again if I visited St Arnaud. Pip and Kevin were fabulous hosts and Finn was the wiggliest, happiest doggo.

The stylishly presented property. Everything was just beautiful. Pip was lovely and her home made biscuits were a treat. Wish we had stayed after our tramp also.
