Haus Victoria

The host of Haus Victoria is very thoughtful, kind and agreeable that the communication with her is useful, to the point and correct. And the apartment is located near to the bus stop, and from there the host helped us reach the house easily by her car. The major sightseeing of St. Gilgen are accessible by foot, to the beautiful lake, boat ride, and the cable car ride entrance and the bus stop to nearby cities such as Salzburg and Bad Ischul is possible with the bus 150. We highly appreciate the excellent vacation at this accommodation with the Austrian Alps which was after the cultural and historical Vienna trip. Thanks for your help and the fragrant present. Wish to stay there in 2 to 3 years.

Beautiful clean and cosy apartment above the hosts home. Extremely well stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need and lots of little extras provided. Welcome homemade cake, prosecco and fruit were a lovely touch. The host is very friendly and helpful. Great location with fantastic views from the balcony. Easy walk to the town or a nice drive around the lake to various places of interest. Unfortunately, the ferry was not running due to poor weather, but buses were running from outside the apartment. Would have loved to stay longer.

Spacious apt with great views. Delightful and generous hosts. Sat on the balcony watching paragliders land in the field below, in the evening. In the morning watched sunrise with peaks above the clouds. Well equipped kitchen.

The booking.com directions were incorrect, giving the wrong street name and number!). It is Laim 5 on L as you walk up from the tourist office - although the number was obscured by a shrub. Otherwise it was perfect.

Peaceful immaculately clean and great size apartment. Beautifully decorated and super comfy bed. Everything you need and more. Fantastic hosts who made us so very welcome. Lots of lovely touches such as home made jam, and cakes. Incredible views. Highly recommend.

Absolutely everything! Our host Victoria and her husband could not have done more to make our stay more comfortable. Lots of space, exceptionally well appointed. Beautiful views from the terrace overlooking the lake and mountains . Very quiet. Only a 10 minute walk down a pretty lane into St. Gilgen, one of the prettiest villages I have visited. Local supermarket 6 minute walk. Cannot fault in any way. Thank you Victoria so much. Will come again if we revisit Austria.

Absolutely wonderful apartment with the loveliest owners. A great base to explore the area and an easy walk into the main town and lake. Every detail was covered in this superb, large apartment, from every utensil imaginable, rugs for sitting on the balcony, maps, drying rack and welcome treats.

I love the place and the view from our room. apartment was like a home, nice and cozy and very nice decoration. The hosts was nice and she even gave us a parting gift. we broke one of her framework and she's so nice she didnt ask us to pay. Parking free/bus stop nearby/closeby supermarket and quiet and nice neighborhood.definitely recommended this place!

Really beautiful apartment with everything you could need and heaps more. The hostess was lovely, and she drove us to and from the bus station with our bags, even giving us a little gift on departure . Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Maybe not for you if you have mobility issues, but we are an older couple and had no problem
