Biohof Schmiedbauer

Wir hatten zwei ganz wunderbare Tage auf dem Hof Schmiedbauer! Die Gegend ist traumhaft schön und die Wohnung ist sehr wertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Kinder durften die Schafe füttern und die Burg in Laufnähe ist auch ein Highlight.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei ausgesprochen netten Gastgebern, die jederzeit ansprechbar waren und uns herzlich empfangen haben. Besonders gefreut hat uns die liebevoll zusammengestellte Begrüßungsplatte mit regionalen Produkten – eine wirklich schöne Geste. Die Wohnung ist im gemütlichen Landhausstil eingerichtet und die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, es war alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Hunde sind hier wirklich herzlich willkommen, was für uns ein großer Pluspunkt war. Die Gaststätte Tatzer ist außerdem nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt – ideal für einen entspannten Abend. Man kann aber auch einfach schön draußen sitzen und die Umgebung genießen. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass man sich das SUP-Board der Gastgeberin ausleihen konnte – das war für unser Kind ein echtes Highlight.

Ein paar Dinge möchten wir dennoch anmerken: Da sich die Wohnung direkt unterm Dach befindet, heizt sie sich im Sommer durch die Dachfenster leider stark auf. Rollos oder eine Klimaanlage würden hier sehr helfen, da der Ventilator alleine nicht ausreicht. Außerdem war es in einigen Ecken und Schränken etwas staubig bzw. es gab ein paar Spinnweben. Die Tür der Duschkabine ist etwas kurz/klein, was etwas unpraktisch war. Im Sommer waren die dicken Daunendecken zu warm; die dünneren Alternativen empfanden wir leider als etwas kratzig. Der Lüfter im Bad war recht laut. Fliegengitter gibt es nur an einigen Fenstern, was aber immerhin schon hilfreich war. Kleiner Hinweis für Hundebesitzer: In der Umgebung gibt es leider keine Badeseen, in denen Hunde erlaubt sind – das sollte man im Sommer berücksichtigen. Insgesamt hatten wir aber eine sehr schöne Zeit und können die Unterkunft vor allem Hundebesitzern empfehlen, die Wert auf eine gut ausgestattete Wohnung und herzliche Gastgeber legen.

Location was perfect for rest and peacefull, yet close to locations that we wanted to explore.

Fabulous place - in rural village, but very close to the castle. Amazing organic farm. The room/apartment had everything (and more!) than we expected: amazing coffee maker, fireplace with wood that we enjoyed on this chilly evening, and there was a welcome sampler waiting for us including a few local meets, cheeses, eggs, cake and bread. We regret that we only planned to stay for one night - so be sure to plan a longer stay to enjoy the place longer than we did - and we will surely be back!

The house is located in the middle of a beautiful valley, among the pastures, in a fairytale-like landscape. The size and luxury of the space far exceed anything one could expect at that price level and the hosts are just amazing. I have no words to describe how great our stay was. We enjoyed the companion of a bunch of friendly animals - cats, dog, beautiful cows. A peaceful and beautiful place in the countryside.

Beautiful quiet place, very friendly owners and beautiful and cozy apartment. We were here only one night unfortunately, but in the future we would love to come back again .
