Brilliant location, clean and well presented. Kitchen really well equipped. Brilliant sofa bed provided in the lounge which was very comfy.

No air con and overhead fan just swished hot air around, no netting on windows so lots of mozzies, no proper curtains or blinds so rooms stayed light, especially the lounge which we used as an extra bedroom with the sofa bed. Knob on shower tricky to use to switch between shower and tap.

These apartments are ready for you to move in and live comfortably, with everything you need and more. There are cups, forks, spoons, an oven, microwave, toaster and everything else. You could list what you have in your own apartment, and these apartments would likely have it. They even had foldable chairs for taking to the beach and watching the sunset. The apartments are not located in the busiest part of Madeira, which might be seen as a downside for some, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet, with cars passing by only once every 20 minutes and the constant sound of waves outside the window. There are three restaurants within walking distance, and the nearest supermarket is a 10-15 minute drive away, so you get both tranquility and distance from city life. We later moved to a hotel in Funchal and missed these apartments.

The only downside I would mention is the parking space, or rather, the parking space itself is definitely a plus. However, its location in the underground parking made me recall my driving lessons. It wasn't easy, but I managed. It's not that big of a downside, but I should mention something here.

The apartment was on the beach with a cute little balcony overlooking the ocean. It was spacious for the three of us, and it had a separate kitchen fully equipped with anything you needed to prepare a snack or a meal. The kitchen had a window that overlooked the rooftops and faced the ocean letting in the afternoon sun, which felt so homely. The cleanliness of the apartment was impeccable and the best I have experienced while travelling in Portugal. There was also an expansive rooftop balcony where we spent many afternoons lazing and relaxing in the sun. The host was very helpful with recommendations on hiring a car and catering to our needs. I can't recommend this place enough.

The exterior of the building and the internal common areas are a little run down and have not been maintained. If it weren't for the neglect on the outside of the property, I would have given this review a higher rating.
