LUXURY Apartment Studio PORT DOUGLAS 65 SQ MTRS and Bath

The kitchen was dirty, dishes were greasy, the floor had random stains and the couch even had a fingernail on it. There was dust under the bed and behind it and dirt under carpets. When I texted the owners, they ignored my comments about the place not being cleaned, they just sent somebody else to come clean it while we went out for the day.

Beautiful property,quiet and a great stay

Spacious, an extra pedestal fan was supplied when requested. Our contact was easy to reach and responded immediately

Noise from next door could be an issue. We were lucky and only had neighbours for one night. The patio fan didn’t work.

Our apartment was well equipt and with the lovely high ceilings and four poster bed and fantastic bathroom it felt very luxurious.. it was a fifteen easy walk into the Main Street with lots of lovely shops and eating places. We loved the market on the Sunday. We did two trips the Daintree n outer barrier reef which were both well worth going on.

The lighting in the bathroom wasn’t great for doing your make up but lovely otherwise

Amazing value for money. Outstanding location, wonderful room with huge ensuite and a small kitchen, and a nice balcony. Great pool and ample street parking at the rear of the property.

Slightly dated, and repairs appear to have been done badly by the owner. Water in the kitchen faucet occasionally does not work. Bad soundproofing from the penthouse next door. Foyer was generally shabby with construction materials. Key pickup and drop-off was slightly clumsy and difficult; a key lockbox or similar would help.

The apartment was really clean and comfortable.

The room itself was great. Great facilities.

Walls are very thin. Nothing that can be helped by the host but we were woken on Saturday and Sunday by a piano being played by kids in the room next to ours.

Location was very good and the room very spacious and comfortable .

1) We found glasses and cups dirty from previous stay probably . Not a great feeling . 2) The two floors stairs outside the building without rain protection is not really pleasant and should be informed beforehand . With heavy luggage and rain things can go really bad despite that there are several warnings of slippery danger . 3) Booking did not informed in the reservation what would be the total amount to be payed . Booking is just a middle man that take no responsibility on its mistakes . Landlord should care about the right information for guests . His explanation about exchange rate was not proper .
