Beachside 2 with Private Heated Plunge Pool

Fantastic private pool to relax in. Lovely open dining, living and kitchen. The beds were absolutely lovely to sleep in. The location was also great. Right near the beach, just walk through the park at the end of the building. The owners were fantastic and fixed any problems we had quite promptly.

Booking.com does not advertise them correctly. Apparently this is an ongoing issue with the owners trying to get booking.com to change it. I thought I had booked a 2 bedroom apartment - which was apartment 2. It was a studio room, my bed was looking straight onto the kitchen, open to everything, no door or anything. The second bed was tucked into a slightly closed off nook in the corner. We got upgraded to a single bedroom and bonus bed in that same type of nook that worked as we were 2 friends traveling together. Booking.com really needs to change their description.

close to beach/quality restaurant/ tavern - despite rainy days, great plunge pool, cooking facilities, spacey and comfy very relaxing ambiance in unit

It was a good location - very well presented.

The mattress

Cute and clean. Well stocked with the basics and a coffee pod machine. Access to 4 mile Beach at the end of the road.

Needed a car to get into Port Douglas itself otherwise great.
