Wayfarer in Port Douglas

Great place to stay with the family - very well equipped and a lovely fitout. Perfect place to base ourselves from for checking out the area.

Great location, easy walking distance to the main strip and the beach. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed.

The exterior isn’t super appealing, but the apartment itself was very nice on the inside. We weren’t given any check in details, so we had to call the hosts, but they responded straight away and we’re very helpful.

Warm homely feel appartement with everything you need. Loved the hammock, spent the rainy day leisurely. Jessica was very responsive and helpful.

Great little apartment with a good layout for families. Very comfortable beds and a good location for walks to beach and town. It's been beautifully done up. The pool is pretty good.

Bit confusing where to go on arrival (not alot of information provided) and the complex itself is a little rough, empty beer bottles and some broken light fittings sat at the bottom of our steps for the whole stay. Not a major problem but detracted from overall impression. The apartment itself has been done up nicely and is great apart from this.

The property was in a great location, had a very homey feeling and had everything you could need or ask for. probably owner was lovely and communications were fast and friendly. Fingers crossed, this property is available the next time I am in Port Douglas.

It was a large, clean and comfortable 2BR apartment. The original artworks were a feature. A 5 minute walk to the beach, 15 minutes to Macrossan Street. We didn't have a car and didn't need one to see everything in Port Douglas. The apartment was in a quiet block.

Nothing to do with this particular apartment which was absolutely fine, but the apartment block and 'gardens' do not impress at first sight. So, do not expect to arrive at The Ritz.
