We arrived at the apartment at 9:50 p.m on Tuesday and picked up the key from a coded box at the front of the property. As it was late we went directly to bed and didn’t notice the damage until Wednesday morning. There was a large water leek in the ceiling in the hall and the living room walls were all scratched and had large holes in the walls. Where obliviously unknown articles were thrown at the wall, causing holes going completely throw the wall with the size of a fist. The oven in the kitchen was so dirty full of fat and grease that we refused to use it. I contacted the owner the next day and spoke to his father as he was not available I explained the condition of the apartment to him and he acknowledged that there was water damage to the ceiling caused by water damage earlier in the summer, which had never been repaired. I also told him about the damage to the wall in the living room and the dirt of the couch and chairs. He said he was aware of everything and said he would have his son call me at 10 p.m. I waited until 11 p.m but received no phone call. I called the next day but he didn’t pick up. I sent him an email, telling him I had spoken to his father and ones again listing him the details of the damaged property and asking him for alternative accommodation as I was totally dissatisfied with the condition of the property. He did not reply to my phone calls nor my email. I have not met the owner as he had left the keys in a coded box at the front of the property. As it was my first time booking with your selves in this area I had no idea as to where to go to seek alternative accommodation. The owner completely ignored us and refused to get in contact with us. I wish to claim a refund from this booking as it was totally unacceptable and the ignorance shown to us by the owner. I want you to take this property off your web site as it is uninhabitable. Chosen for its central location for the places we were visiting, only slept there, didn't use any facilities except the lovely bathroom and comfortable beds. Clean and well appointed upstairs apartment. Plenty of free parking in the square at the front of the building.
