Nice spacious apartment with great beds

No remarks, cleaning was ok.

The massive porch was great. The generator came in handy with the power outage. Very friendly staff.

The AC did not work. Would have been nice if the geyser was connected the the generator for hot water.

Location very convenient . Walked to the restaurants. Quiet Comfortable Lovely bathrooms

I had to clean the cupboard and counter surfaces and light switches. I also washed my duvet cover on arrival.

We booked the apartment as per images on Booking.com that clearly showed a lovely ground floor garden apartment as the one available on the dates we requested, but was taken to an apartment on the 2nd floor :( Not acceptable and very deceiving, the owner did not even make an effort to contact us after we expressed our disappointment. We would not have paid this particular cost if we had known we would be staying upstairs. Do note there is no lift, you will need to carry all your heavy luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Stellenbosch becomes incredibly hot, there is only an air conditioner unit in the lounge, the 2 bedrooms do not have one.
