Tiny House

Tiny House is well located on Davit Aghmashenebeli Avenue, at the end (it's a very long road) close to the pedestrianised area and the historic centre of Tbilisi; it's also less than 30 minutes' walk from Central Station and the airport bus, although I arrived by marshrutka at Didube, which is on the opposite side of the city,, six miles away. As my host could not be there when I arrived, he left the keys with a trader outside the property, who was kind enough to show me how to enter the main building (the property is at the rear, in a separate building). The area is awash with cafes, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and any other amenity necessary. It is small (the clue is in the name) but the space is used well, with plenty of storage and hanging space, a table and chair and a kitchen consisting of a single hob, kettle and fridge. The room and bathroom were clean and the shower worked well. My host (who communicated well in English) could not be there when I checked out either, but trusted me to leave my payment on the table so that I could leave in time to catch my bus to the airport,

The biggest issue here was mosquitoes; with only a fan (no air conditioning) and in the middle of a heatwave, closing the window was not an option and there was no mosquito net. I sprayed myself and the bedding as best I could (and managed to kill a handful) but still got bitten at least a dozen times whilst asleep, The bed was rustic and not the most comfortable and the bedding itself was poor quality, also the wi-fi was unreliable, but other than that, I quite enjoyed staying here.

I liked very much that there was sulfur aqva term very close to location. It was nice relax!
