Central Park View Apartment

central location, comfortable beds and excellent host

We were there for the second time and it seems like our favourite Thessaloniki accomodation. Clean and spatious one, with all you need for your stay. There is also a small but usable balcony with a park view. A great underground parking is near across the street, and my recommendation is to use it if you are coming by car, because it is very dificult to find the parking spot on the street - not only here but anywhere in and around Thessaloniki center.

Just a suggestion; the carpet in the main room need to be changed because of the curved edge one one side, someone can stumble on it. And maybe to include a wifi extender, so the signal can reach the bedroom.

The apartment was spacious, well equipped and located at the very beginning of Tsimiski and on walking distance to the Tower of Thessaloniki. The host was very kind and communicative all the way. Parking was available across the street in the YMCA parking.

Two pairs of keys would be nice so that each guest in the separate bedroom can have independent access to the apartment.

The location is great in the center, there is a parking across the street which works very well. The appartment is very clean and the bedroom is very quiet - the bes was very comfortable and very clean. Valia is a very polite, friendly, helpful lady. Access to the building is pretty easy .

Location was diffidently the highlight of the property. Everything else is average at most.

We had a somewhat unpleasant experience. We did not get any instructions on how to obtain the key to the apartment on the day of the arrival, as promised by the host. After sending a few messages and calling the host, we eventually got the instruction more than 30 minutes after check-in time. Waiting for 30 minutes in front of the building with two kids it's not what we hoped for. Inside the apartment, we were greeted with an unpleasant smell of naphthalene which was there throughout the stay. The final issue that we had was with the hot water. We followed the host's instructions on how to turn the water heater on, however, turning the switch on was resulting in a power outage in the whole apartment. The result taking shower after a long day of travel with icy cold water. Btw the switch for the heather is in the main fuse box, which is plain dangerous.

Good location close to the White Tower, upgraded apartment, all amenities needed. Easy check-in and check-out procedure.

There is only one bathroom (which may prove insufficient for a group of 5 people). The balcony is very small.
