Sunny apartment near the center

Warm welcome from our host, the care and thought she put into everything at the property, the facilities and comfort, and the suggestions she sent us while we were there. The location was also ideal for exploring the old and new city areas. The area around the apartment feels safe and quiet and we slept very well.

The apartment has great views but it does mean climbing several flights of steps. Good exercise!

What is exceptional about this apartment is the feeling of being at home; maybe it is its history that exudes warmth, friendliness and kindness. Then there is the beauty of entering it and immediately experiencing why it is called "sunny apartment," light flooding in from doors opening up on a balcony that again allows for the most spectacular view on Thessaloniki with the sea in the background. Being on the third level of the building in which it is situated in it also provides with a view on the remains of the Byzantine wall, and in the early mornings with a cup of coffee, the balcony also allows for gazing at the parents and their children walking to school close by...so peaceful amidst urban morning traffic. The apartment is fully furnished and have all the necessary appliances, cutlery, utensils, glasses, but it also contains ornamental artefacts, reminding one of a history of care and love. It is located within walking distance of several touristy attractions, and Amalia its friendly owner and host, advises with very useful information of where to go and how to get there. Whenever we visit Thessaloniki again, this will be our home.

Close to the centre, yet quiet. If you are looking for a home for a few days, not a hotel room with 2 separate bedrooms, this is it. Very kind and helpful owner.

The house is very beautiful, the host is very polite, helpful and concerned. İt has all the facilities that we will feel like at home. The host answered all our questions sincerely and helped us with everything from our arrival to our trip.

Absolutely the best choice for visiting Thessaloniki, the price versus quality ratio is worth it and what's more, the owner - Amalia - goes above and beyond with providing the best service possible, including giving us much appreciated tips for visiting local spots/restaurants and accommodating our wish for a different check-in/out time. I strongly recommend to everyone visiting Thessaloniki to book this apartment, as the hospitality we have received is impeccable and so far unmatched. It is also a short walk to the city centre, the apartment has a great balcony and there is everything you need just a short walk away - whether it is a bakery open from 6am or a night shop.
