Apartment Armenka Carihuela Park

Great location near to the beach and restaurants.

Not secure as balcony door would not lock. With no safe in the room and it only being on the first floor we were extremely worried as our cash, passports and valuables were at risk whenever we were out. If you have young children then avoid until this is remedied as it is a major safety risk. Getting charged €5 per person per day to use the sun loungers at the communal pool. Overall clean but it is very tired looking, the shower especially needs replacing and given a deep clean. On our fifth night the apartment suffered loss of power and no hot water. The owner of the apartment is not prepared for such an incident and was slow to respond. Passed the buck to the building owners who also did little to nothing to help. Eventually we had no option to pack up and move to a nearby hotel for our final 3 nights as they couldn’t give any timescale for the power to come back on. Thankfully the apartment owner reimbursed the full cost of the hotel stay.

location is excellent as its right in the middle.of Carihuela and also perfectly situated for both Torremolinos and Benalmadena.

having to pay eur5 per sun bed around the pool. this was a totally unexpected cost and is a rip off for what is not even a comfortable bed. you also have to wait around for ages for the guy to appear to unlock them. apartment was quite dark.
