Wirrina Cove Apartment

The pool was closed. Building is very tired and needs updating but the apartment itself was lovely and the views absolutely stunning. Will definitely return!

Tired run down building

Nice view. Beautifully spacious. We could wash clothes. We liked the roos and galahs out the window.

I am surprised to pay that much and only have instant coffee. I brought my own espresso beans, but there was no machine. I didn't know people even still drank instant coffee these days! I am used to places having a machine. The duvets were heavy and not nice. We had real trouble turning off the wretched air conditioner, and both I and my daughter were trying to shut the thing up in the middle of the night. The crockery was cheap. The owner could well throw some of the tacky decorations away, which would give the place less clutter and enhance the mood. We were exhausted when we arrived, but the TV cable didn't work, so we couldn't relax and watch a video. The owner was 7 hours away, which wasn't exactly helpful.

The apartment was lovely, with stunning views. Had everything we needed for a relaxing quick break down the coast.

One of the tea towels was quite dirty - I think it had been washed, but perhaps needed a really good soak. So we did have to use a bit of paper towel to clean and dry. some of the cutlery and a glass were in need of a wash. I like the idea that we have to do our own dishes, but it relies on the cleanliness and diligence of people who may not have the same idea of what "clean" is! I would also like to see a separate small bin for the kitchen, for recycling items - cardboard, plastics, paper etc. That should be pretty standard these days. We don't want everything going to landfill.

Views and wild life exceptional. All conveniences available. Well positioned to visit around area.

Access via steps was tricky for my elderly dad.
