Hartington House

The Flat was in central location to all amenities in Woodhall Spa e.g shops, pubs, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Flat overlooking a garden. The Kitchen was very clean and stocked with enough utensils and kitchenware for our stay. The Bathroom was very clean and in good order. The lounge was decorated and comfy The bedroom was neat and tidy/ clean. The heating system was easy to use and sufficient. Private off road parking onsite Quiet .

On arrival we nearly did a u turn and went home (this due to the entrance area and stairwell leading up to the flat), which was in very poor unkempt/ untidy condition, the lobby / stairs and immediate outside area close to ground floor entrance was dirty and walls with plaster falling off. The woodwork was rotten and falling off. We decided to look at the flat before making our mind up. The lobby had lots of parcels and items left discarded in no order. Old toys scattered etc Also Used Plaster bins left close to lobby . The shower had limited pressure on any setting. The kitchen cupboards had someone's food left in them e.g opened white bread and eggs both perishable The bathroom cupboard had half used toothpaste and shampoo left as well as half used toilet rolls The bed was very hard ( only our opinion) as some people like hard mattresses. Window sills / frames in some rooms were rotted in places and needed to be filled/ re painted. On one occasion could not park where we were informed was the space as another resident was using it .

We have stayed at the apartment a few times now and it never disappoints. The apartment is always very clean and fresh and on this visit it was no different. The main bed is super comfy and the sofa bed is just as comfy and very easy to make up. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils and crockery that you need if you're cook. On this trip we were greeted by a lovely new addition, a full size dishwasher, which was most welcomed. The apartment is always quiet and is well positioned, and right opposite our favourite bakers. We will definitely stay again when we get the chance. Thank you for being great hosts.

Very clean inside, had everything we needed, perfect location. Bakers/deli over the road is highly recommended.

Access to flat was grubby and was by stairs only (so may be unsuited to someone with disabilities), outside of building needed maintenance. Parking a little restricted but otherwise ok as is off-road.

The flat was lovely and clean,well equipped and very central .

Home from home feel, well equipped comfortable, spacious clean and inviting

Smart tv was not the greatest First impression in the stair well was not inviting as a first impression.
