The kitchen facilities were really good. We cooked most nights we were there and it was a decent space with good quality appliances. The garden was beautiful too. There was a car park a minute walk down the hill next to a petrol station that we parked in while we were here (you only had to pay from 10am to 5pm and we were out most of the day anyway. Plus, it was cheap if you did have to pay) which was really handy.

While the obvious things looked clean - taps, sinks, mirrors, etc, the cleanliness of the rest of the place wasn't up to scratch. The corners of all the walls/ceilings/floors needed a really good dust/clean. The rug underneath the table was pretty stained so overall the place felt a bit grotty. We also weren't left a fresh sponge in the kitchen (it had obviously been used by the previous guests, and the scrubbing brush they left for us had human hair in it, which particularly disgusted us. Fresh kitchen cleaning items should be given to every new guest. I think a touch of paint, removing the rug (I don't think there needs to be one there anyway) and a decent clean in the less obvious places would do this place wonders. Also, the pillows weren't very comfy (this seems to be a common thing in Europe though as everywhere else has been the same) and the duvet covers were scratchy.

The house is absolutely stunning and has everything you could ever need. The view from one of the balconies was perfect and the beds were comfortable. Location was excellent as well.

Through no fault of the owner, the house is mere feet away from an EXTREMELY busy & very loud road. The noise was unfortunately unbearable with windows open, and during the hot summer months there is no choice. For this reason we will not be returning :( shame since the place is perfect (love the balance of modern & traditional German).

The location was great for walking around town and close to restaurants and shops. The property itself was clean, spacious and had great facilities. it was perfect for our family. The view from the balconies was an added bonus. Highly recommend.
