#5 Private room close to Airport

The bed was comfortable and the host was very friendly and helpful.

The shower isn’t always the warmest and the kitchen is very minimal.

Perfect for overnight flight

It was very simple entering with the instructions provided by the host. The room is small but quite cozy and you have all what you need for a short stay before or after a flight. There is a common kitchen that we really appreciated.

Alajuela in general can be a bit loud. We could hear the noice from the street but we knew it, so with some earplugs we slept perfectly

No breakfast, but well equipped kitchen and grocery shopping nearby in walking distance.

The room was hot and humid and the small fan was not able to be better positioned. Perhaps the bed could be turned to allow access to both sides, especially at night to use the bathroom. Install a toilet paper holder on the nearby wall!!

Great location. Would recommend for a stay before/after flight. And the host also picked us up from airport for 10$. A little loud, but this is the life in a city. :)

Oscar was a great and very helpful host, and the location was perfect for after a long flight. Only 10 minutes from the airport. The room itself was very clean, which I was really happy about and a late check in was no problem.

The street was quite loud, and the walls are thin, so definitely bring earplugs to sleep. But it might just be how every house in Costa Rica is built. So not sure if that can be considered criticism.

Oscar is an incredible host, so kind and considerate and works hard to keep the rooms spotless! Good kitchen facility to cook simple meals, hot shower, clean sheets and towels, very comfortable bed, and the rooms stay cool throughout the day without a/c, the fan works very well. He offers rides to the airport too! Cleanest room I've been to during my two month stay in Costa Rica. Now my go-to when staying in Alejuela 👌

This was the most comfortable stay I've had so far in Costa Rica. Spotlessly clean with quality bedsheets and towels, a warm shower, and no bugs in sight!! Of course when you meet the host you understand why things are kept in such great shape! The host genuinely cares that your stay is comfortable and that you have all you need.

I couldn't get my TV to work, I didn't ask for assistance with this because it was not of importance to me, but if I had informed the host, I know he would have come to assist this! 😊
