"Spectacular old house with stunning view"

8.0

Spectacular position with a big panoramic terrace opening onto the Vesuvio. The view is well worth the stay here. The house is very old style charme. The room was ok and the owners let us check in early. Thanks Enzo. We had a good stay even if it was off-season January.

Cash payment only. The mattrass was hard and the little shower in the bathroom, the one next to the wc, was leaking. There was no Dimora del Conte sign on the door, but the red building can be easily recognized from the photos. It's a little bit tricky to get there without a car, if you're walking up the main road from Seiano train station be aware that the road has not much safe space on the sides.

"Great place and host"

10.0

The view was AMAZING. The 2 bedroom appartment is huge. A little old but the are redoing it room by room. Both Lorenzo and Giuseppe were amazing. They always brought us breakfast even if we didnt make it down. Super nice and helpful!

One of the bed was a little hard but still okay

"Poor"

3.0

The view was amazing

The accommodation is well over due for renovation. Also there were sockets with wires hanging out, missing light bulbs, the shower was leaking ( he promised to fix while we were out, he didnt). Absolutely no parking, on a very busy road so parking roadside was hazardous. Up a large incline, and many steps to accommodation and down for breakfast so be aware if you have mobility issues!

"The best location on Amalfi"

10.0

The hosts Lorenzo and Giuseppo were our kind of guys. Lorenzo (Enzo) is an excellent chef and he made us dinner on our first evening. I will rate that the best dinner overall visiting Italy. He made homemade Ravioli, and this ended in a cooking course at the premises on our last night. We learned how to make Homemade mozzarello, pizzas cooked in their 14th century wooden fired pizzaoven, unbeliveable experience. Giuseppo greated us every morning with eggs and coffe, he even drove us to Napoli airport on our departure. I suspect my wife fell in love with both hosts, fortunately I am quite a chef myself and my wife followed me back home. planning to go back next year with the whole family.

italians need to take care of tourist pedestrians, what happened to pavements?
