De Hoop Guest Farm

Property was clean and well equipped with the necessary for a stay over. Was very grateful that there was a fan in the room for the heat. The host touched base with us on route and met us on arrival to show us to the unit. Great value for money.

Would have liked to have milk or powder milk for the morning cup of coffee and perhaps another fan for in the second bedroom, specially in the heat.

The view and peacefullness

No aircon tv and no ceilings

We did not request any breakfast, The host was kind and friendly. We liked the privacy, the 2 x houses we stayed in were neat and tidy. We had sufficient tea coffee and sugar in the house and were given extra when we ran out. We appreciated that. The host provided sufficient fire wood which was very kind. We enjoyed the quietness and the fabulous mountain views.

The gravel road to our accommodation was smooth and easy to drive on. However, prepare for a long drive to the venue and you have to return the same way back to the to the N1. Give and take its about 46 km added to your journey.

Host was helpful. Loved the view and Karoo feel. The place was very clean and equiped with everything we needed.

A mirror where you can do your hair and make would be nice.

It was beautiful! I loved the huge farmhouse that we stayed in. It was peaceful and relaxing.
