Huize de Weijde Blick

Das Zimmer war gut und gut eingerichtet. In einer guten lage.

Das der vermieter uns so von der Seite doof angemerkt hat. Den der mann nicht gewesen wäre.wäre das alles gut. Die Frau war sehr Nett und freundlich.

We rented the flat. It is very nice, lots of space, clean and cozy. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Two steep staircases lead to the attic, you should be aware, if you are not that mobile . Parking space is available and a nearby supermarket. The flat is located at he main road. We were there during the Meifestival, so it was loud, because the big Party Tent is on the Weijde very nearby. The host ( the daughter in law, other guests told us) welcomed us very friendly.

What happened in the middle of our 5 nights stay was quite disturbing to us. A friend with her 2 little girls came by to pick us up from the flat. They stayed from 15 pm to 16.20, had a small lunch they brought themselves and we left together to visit the beach. At the staircase suddenly the door rashly opened and our host really snapped at us that we are not allowed to have visitors!!!! We were perplexed and said that they just came by and were of course not going to stay with us overnight, so where is the problem? Just furious eye contact and that we are not allowed to have visitors. It is not described in the house rules, she did not brief that when welcoming us, she just showed us a very ugly face and treated us like villains. Normally I couldn’t care less about that rude behavior, what I am resentful for is the children were scared, she took hours from my lifetime, giving me bad feelings for a situation which was absolutely unnecessary to provoke. It was like Jekyll and Hyde, really. We are Superhosts, we know the business very well, never ever would have come to my mind to treat guests like she did. The consequences are clear, though the apartment ist great so far ( maybe not in summertime -attic) , we will never come back and leave just one single cent to a host who seems to be unpredictable giving the well paying guests a bad feeling in their vacations. An absolut no go. Hopefully other guests are smart enough to start reading the bad reviews first, because we were not the only ones experiencing such an inadequate behaviour.

Sehr saubere Unterkunft. Gemütlich eingerichtet.

Es hätte einen vernünftigen Toaster geben können, aber nicht lebenswichtig.

We had the room faced tu dune with 3 windows. It was very clean, beautiful and comfortable, including a small kitchen with everything included. Studio in on wick aan zee, a small beautiful village at nordsee coast. if you have car then here is the best value for money option you could have for staying at Netherlands for a while.

Everything was perfect.
