Bed was comfortable.

Firstly there’s a 6km dirt road with sharp rocks from the main road so unless you’re are using a motorbike or a bakkie, I wouldn’t recommend. The unit 8 door was a struggle to close and doesn’t have a key lock on the inside. The sheets had stains on them and a funky smell. The blankets smelled like someone was sleeping on them after a sweaty workday. Especially the grey fleece. The shower had little drainage and the whole bathroom becomes flooded with water when taking a shower. And they leave you a dirty mop to clean up the flood and you have to drain and dry it with your own hands. The unit itself was dusty and dirty and they didn’t even clean the fire pit outside, it still had burned wood and ashes that other guests were using. Even the outdoor furniture was dirty. Honestly, it looked like unit 8 wasn’t clean after the guests that were there before us left. My honest recommendation, you are better off paying an extra hundred rands somewhere else. Otherwise, expect Hillbrow Motel vibes. Not even worth the “cheap” price they charge. I wanted to take pictures but both our phones were dead and we forgot our chargers at home. We also got there late at night around 8:30, so we couldn’t buy one at that time.

It seems like there was no preparation done for our stay. Floors where dusty, kitchen what dusty, plugs next to the fridge where greasy, even the toilet paper was dusty. There were cobwebs in the sliding doors and windowsill. The bathroom sink is leaking all over the floor.

It was super cozy & comfortable and has everything you need!

Some ceiling lights were flickering but it wasn't a deal breaker
