Location was great, very peaceful surrounded by nature. The chalets were very rustic and blended well with the surroundings, kudos to the interior decorator. fully kitted kitchen, has all of the utensils you would need to cook a decent meal.

A cleaner pool would've been great

We made our own breakfast. But the area was so tranquil away from city life. I really love the town wish I could move there permanently.

Having to do our own house chores was a drag. If only they could charge a little extra of accomodation to pay someone to come and do some house keeping for the visitors everyday at a certain time. 😊

Personal response: Loved the room layout, especially the big glass sliding doors that opened to the fire area. We sat inside drinking wine and watching a movie while a fire was going. Partner’s response: I really appreciate how on top and aware the owners were of any issues that did/may have arose. They are very lovely and accommodating surrounding things that didn’t even bother us but where important to them to ensure our stay was great.

Any & all possible “issues” were brought to our attention by the owners prior to us noticing. There was nothing in particular that bothered us or that is worth mentioning that the owners weren’t already aware of.

Dirk and his entire family was very hospitable, warm and welcoming. We got lost and Dirk responded to calls and even came out to meet us. The unit was lovely and spacious.

Found a half eaten chocolate, clearly by something like a mouse, under the pillow. The fence alarm went off a couple of times (no fault of owners). The ‘open’ plan bathroom facilities is probably not ideal for friends, maybe couples.

Great and nice experience. The host is doing their best to make sure you're comfortable.

Just the location, the drive on the gravel makes it hard for e-hailing to pick you up.

Lovely clean venue. Friendly staff. Beautifull gardens.

The bed in the lounge has steel sticking in ones back.
